Description
Classroom Sessions:
These courses can be taken on their own or as a full day of training. The Railroad 101 course will be taught in the morning session and the afternoon session. This will allow for a shift friendly schedule and consistent information delivery.
Railroad 101: This is an introduction to Railroad Emergencies. Learn about railroad operations, hazards, and safety rules. Rail Hazmat safety and emergency response procedures are reviewed and discussed. Tank Car and Rail Car identification procedures will be shown. Basic overviews of valves and fittings will be discussed, with hands-on opportunities. Other portions of the course will touch on:

Important Details
Required Safety Gear: Safety Vest, Hard Hat / Fire Helmet, gloves, safety Glasses, long Pants, and Steel Toe or composite toe Boots.
Please advise the instructor(s) of any pre-existing medical condition(s) that may preclude you from participating in any field exercise. Stay hydrated and alert.
Be at the site by 8:30am for registration. Depending on registration and training needs, the training schedule may be adjusted prior to event.
Registration will remain open until after the event. Walk-ins are welcome to register on-site at the training event, however we strongly encourage pre-registration.
