Participants will have the opportunity to:
-Understand chemical and physical properties of molten sulphur, sulphuric acid, hydrogen sulfide – exposure mitigation and treatment
-Review of bulk loading and unloading facilities, operations, containers and associated hazards for molten sulfur and sulfuric acid
-Learn response considerations for emergency responders to sulphur and sulphuric acid related incidents including truck spill, rail spill, and Sulphur fire
-Learn roles and responsibilities of incident command and understand post-incident remediation
-Be exposed to rail safety considerations including a basic understanding of tank cars via CSX pro / training rail cars
-Gain a better understanding and general awareness of your industrial neighbors - "excellent for local community leaders"
